A new view of millimeter-wave satellite communication

Italian satellite results have broad implications for millimeter-wave satellite communication. We apply their results to high-elevation satellite systems, and find that attractive frequencies extend well beyond the Ka band, to emphasize 40-47 and 85-98 GHz.
