In this paper, we present an educational innovation that is based on the use of the on-line educational platform provided by our University for providing feedback to students. In the last few years, undergraduate university courses with a practical orientation such as programming, have had a high drop-out rate and a low number of students who pass the course. This can be due to the difficulty that students have for understanding the lessons, which causes demotivation and increases the dropout rate. In this paper, we describe the design of this educational innovation, which uses the on-line educational platform and which also includes a collaborative lecture that is given during the on-site lessons. Finally, we analyze the impact of our proposal on a group of students of our University.
