Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is a kind of high performance concrete with high workability. Practical application indicated that SCC can lower casting noises, enhance construction efficiency, and improve durability of concrete; therefore, SCC has been widely used in practice. However, hand mixing SCC was forbidden because it was inconvenient for some engineering project before. In order to deal with this problem, a kind of dry mixing SCC (DMSCC) was produced. It can be produced only by adding some certain water at construction site. In order to study the performance of dry mixing SCC, the effects of different content of water and pisolite on the behaviors of DMSCC were studied, and then, the development of strength with different ages and stress-strain relationship were investigated in this paper. The experimental results showed that the mechanics index of DMSCC decreased with the increment of water, and increased with the enhancement of pisolite when the content of water less than 14% and pisolite less than 35%. Moreover, DMSCC had high early strength, the 3-day's strength was about 80% of 28-day's strength, and splitting tensile strength was approximately higher 40% than that of normal concrete (NC). Finally, a comparison between the stress-strain curve of DMSCC and NC showed that there is no significant difference except for some key points.
