In this paper, a finite element modelling of permanent magnet micro actuator is presented. The later is coupled with a micro screw pump, which can be used in biomedical applications for the pumping of biological fluids such as blood (surgery of heart, blood treatment machines). The resolution of the electromagnetic problem is carried out in 2D magnetostatic assumption in Cartesian case. The characteristics evaluations concern the flow rate-pressure head of the micro screw pump for various rotation speed are also investigated using a developed coupled model with electromagnetic equations and fluid mechanic equations. The obtained results using a computer code implemented under MATLAB environment are confronted with the experimental results provided in the literature.
