Aims & Scope

Micro & Nano Letters offers express publication of short research papers presenting research conducted at the forefront of micro- and nanoscale science, engineering and technology, with at least one dimension ranging from a few tens of micrometres to a few nanometres. This online-only journal offers a rapid route for international dissemination of high-quality research findings generated by researchers from both the micro and nano communities.

Typical topics include:

  • MEMS and NEMS
  • Micro- and nanostructures and devices
  • Modelling, simulation and realisation of micro- and nanoscale structures, devices and systems
  • Synthesis and processing
  • Micro- and nanophotonics
  • Molecular machines, circuits and self-assembly
  • Organic and inorganic micro- and nanostructures
  • Micro- and nanofluidics
