Adaptive context aware legal work environments-basis for developing legal live spaces on the Web

The research presented in this paper looks at the support of legal problem solving in a new way by describing how highly integrated and context-aware tools can be provided by future work environments in order to more effectively support legal problem solving and decision making. Projects carried out in the areas of live spaces and adaptive context aware work environments provide the basis for the concepts described. The aim of the paper is to introduce a concept for adaptive context aware legal work environments that helps to overcome some of the worst shortages of existing approaches for supporting the legal profession.
