System of the information registering and mapping of gas escape detection laser locator

Various methods of gas escape detection (particularly, methane) from pipelines are known. A method of escape detection using a differential laser locator. In this paper a system of registering and mapping the locator is considered. The device is installed in a helicopter which flies above the pipeline route. The system employs an inclined mirror and a photodetector and it is computerised.
