Incorporating knowledge in genetic algorithms for device synthesis

In this paper, the knowledge of qualitative relations between device parameters and characteristics, is incorporated to guide genetic algorithm to exploit the promising space. It makes device synthesis more efficient in searching for feasible design space, which satisfies the desired characteristics.
