Multi-Scenario Planning of Integrated Energy Distribution Network Based on Distflow Model

With the increase in penetration of integrated energy resources, such as distributed photovoltaics (PVs) and combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP) units, the traditional distribution network is gradually transforming to an integrated energy distribution network. Distribution network planning is facing major challenges since traditional planning methods are no longer applicable. Therefore, a multi-scenario planning model for the integrated energy distribution network based on the Distflow model is proposed in the paper. First, the model of integrated energy supply units and the distribution network is formulated considering the reactive power. Then, the model for the uncertainty scenario of distributed PVs and multi-energy loads is established based on K-means clustering technique. Finally, a mixed integer second-order cone planning model for the integrated energy distribution network is constructed and solved by mature commercial solvers. Results of the case study based on the IEEE 33-node distribution network demonstrate effectiveness and applicability of the proposed model.
