A new method for computing the stability margin of 2-D discrete systems

This brief presents a new contribution to the problem of computing the stability margin of two-dimensional (2-D) discrete systems. The method, using the "resultant technique" instead of a typical minimization procedure, is actually an improvement of the method of Mastorakis [1998].
