Experimental investigation of spectral interferometry method

Systems using random signals, which have optimum function of uncertainty, provide a large signal to noise ratio, work in a continuous mode, with a low power, and allow one simultaneously to measure distance to reflecting object, and speed of its movement. For processing of random signals two basic methods are used: correlation and spectral. In the given work the results of an experimental research of possibilities of a spectral interferometry method (modified double spectral processing) are given which allows one to carry out distance measurements with high accuracy (within the limits of the certain interval), or absolute values of phase (difference of phases) of electromagnetic wave.
