Method for steady-state simulation of strongly nonlinear circuits in the time domain

This paper describes a method for the determination of the steady-state solution of autonomous and non autonomous nonlinear circuits. It works in the time domain and is developed starting from differential boundary value problems. It does not require a uniform time point mesh and allows an accurate simulation of spikes into solution waveforms. The mesh placement is based on a new error evaluation. Simulation results, obtained from some circuit benchmarks, are presented.
