A Neighborhood Interactive Distributed Feeder Automation Method in Smart Power Distribution Network

Aiming at the problems of slow fault handling speed and large blackout range in smart power distribution network, a Neighborhood Interactive Distributed Feeder Automation Method (NIDFA) method is proposed. The FA terminal interacts with the information to complete the fault location, isolation and power supply in the non fault area. Aiming at the difficulty of verifying the fault handling method of smart power distribution network, a NIDFA method verification system based on RTDS is built according to the real smart power distribution network. The fault characteristics of various types of smart power distribution network are simulated by RTDS to verify the processing speed, success rate and outage range of NIDFA method in smart power distribution network fault handling. The simulation results show that NIDFA has faster speed and smaller blackout range than the current distribution automation method under the premise of guaranteeing the same success rate of fault handling; at the same time, the experimental process proves that the NIDFA method verification system based on RTDS is convenient, flexible and comprehensive, and has high application value.
