The search for a context to support mathematical learning

Summary form only given. Mathematical concepts and topics that are considered difficult to teach and/or hard to understand are identified. For each one of them, a corresponding "teaching context", i.e., a presentation framework which uses resources that are close to the students' knowledge and experience, is determined. Evaluation forms and procedures to compare the final performance of the experimental and control courses are also prepared.
