Performance evaluation of WDM ring network

Output power, crosstalk, amplified spontaneous emission noise, and bit-error-rates at two different bit rates of a ring network with multiple add-drop nodes are calculated. The results demonstrate the levels of impairments and consequent bit-error-rates.
