A practical microcomputer system for single-phase brushless DC motor

Presented in this paper are the structure, the working principle and the controlling strategy of a single-phase brushless DC motor system with a microcomputer, which is expected to have wide application. The microcomputer is used for commutation control and speed adjustment.
