Forthcoming changes to the European EMC Directive and the expected impact on industry

The European EMC Directive is under revision following the recommendations of a working party under the SLIM (Simpler Legislation for the Internal Market) process. This paper describes the background to the review, the recommendations of the SLIM working party, and the changed requirements in the new draft of the Directive.
