PMSG Based Control Strategy for Interconnected Power System

This paper presented Design and modelling of controller for PMSGbased wind energy conversion system. A main objective of this paper is by using PMSG based wind turbine improve fault ride through capability and analyse controller performance at different initial condition. The PMSG based WECS connected with back to back converter with dc-link. The performance of the WECS with the proposed controller is established for fault ride through capability, output voltage regulation at grid side and analyse the performance of controller in various case study. Simulation results shows the possibility of accomplishing stable operation atload variation and output voltage regulation for DC link simultaneously with controller. The results shown response and strength of the control scheme suggested.
