Advanced Terrestrial and Aerial Monitoring and Inspection System for Critical Infrastructures

The main objective of this paper is to develop an intelligent system for advanced critical infrastructure monitoring and inspection, based on the use of high-powered aerial drones, which acquire information from a set of sensors in order to detect eventual occurrences in the operational area. In the technical solution, we have developed and tested innovative algorithms based on the comparison of frames to detect fixed, preestablished points in order to make some software packages for processing and manufacture the video images, for identifying and solving any incidents, defects and impediments on critical infrastructures.
