A PS- InSAR Sequential Processing Method Based on Network Reconstruction

Permanent scatterers in SAR interferometry (PS-InSAR) is used in the long time monitoring of deformation on the earth's surface. However, the traditional PS-InSAR is a method of batch handing to accomplish detecting and networking the permanent scatterers (PS) and parameter calculation, which greatly reduce the processing efficiency. This paper presents a PS-InSAR sequential processing method based on network reconfiguration. The method guides the network reconstruction of the PS candidates detected before and after the new image adding. Based on the network parameters that have been solved before the new image adding, the parameters of networking and deformations is updated after adding the new image, which significantly improved the processing efficiency. The experiments on the 20 ENVISAT ASAR images in the same area of Anaheim in USA, comparing with the traditional PS-InSAR method, verified that the proposed method can greatly improve the processing effectiveness without losing too much accuracy.
