Localization of Moving Object Under the Interference of Ferromagnetic Platform with the Alternating Magnetic Field

Magnetic tracking techniques have been widely used in many fields, such as virtual reality, surgical robotics system and so on. A large number of methods have been developed to obtain the position of target with the static magnetic field. However, The measurement environment is clear of magnetic noise and clutter. In this paper, a new method of target localization with the alternating magnetic field was proposed. Very accurate trajectory localization estimation were obtain by the simulations, which have demonstrated that the suitability of the proposed method for tracking a moving object with the alternating magnetic field could avoid the interference of the ferromagnetic platform.
