Frequency stabilization at /sup 127/I/sub 2/ Doppler-broadened line center near 532 nm using Nd:YVO/sub 4/ intracavity doubled lasers

Using an EOM crystal and FM spectroscopy method, we have locked the laser frequency to Doppler broadened lines of /sup 127/I/sub 2/ using intracavity laser systems. The laser gain crystal is Nd:YVO/sub 4/, and the intracavity frequency doubling crystal is a KTP plate. It is estimated that the frequency stability of the stabilized laser is in the order of 10/sup -9/.
