Reconfigurable Analog Filter Design using Current Mode Device

This paper reports a synthesis methodology of linear analog filter function using programmable first order function. Synthesized transfer function has been realized as a network of single-output (SO) operational transconductance amplifier (OTA). All types of filters can be realized only by programming the inputs without any parameter matching conditions. This programmability property is maintained through the hierarchical synthesis of higher order multifunction filters. The proposed filter shows better frequency response and tunability, lower sensitivities compared to literature. All the proposed theory are validated with SPICE simulation.
