Defining the Meaning of Entrepreneurship Education for Future Engineering Graduates

Significant growth of entrepreneurship programs have been reported to have been offered to engineering students as the complex challenges in the 21

century has called for higher learning institutions to produce entrepreneurial engineers. Nevertheless, integrating entrepreneurship into the engineering curriculum is still relatively a new movement and it has been reported that introducing entrepreneurship principles and practices to engineering students is poorly understood. To date, little has been done to define the appropriate content of entrepreneurship education for engineering students. In view of this issue, this paper seek to discuss the possible definition of entrepreneurship education for future engineering graduate by discussing the possible answers to the question; ‘what does entrepreneurship education mean to future engineering graduates?’
