At our company, we have recently gone to a new CAD licensing scheme. Instead of sticking us up once a year, they decided on a creative billing method based on usage. Everything went smoothly—until the bill arrived. It was a six-figure bill for “one”—count it—one month’s usage. I felt the need to discuss this with the centralized license repository.
