Implementation of Non-Integer Smoothing Filtering in Analysis of Polysomnography Data

In this work initial study on implementation of various types of smoothing non-integer order filters in analysis of polysomnography data was briefly presented. Smoothing filters are a very useful tool in analysis of various types of biomedical data, which are usually full of various internal and external artifacts. The authors of this work decided to focus of polysomnography as such data provide a lot useful diagnostic information for inter alia medical doctors. Implementation of non-integer order filtering in analysis of biomedical data gives promising results.
