Research on the single radiated-mode leaky coaxial cable with inclined slots

In this paper, the formulas of the electric field of the leaky coaxial cable (LCX) with inclined periodic slots will be displayed and be used in suppressing the radiation harmonics. Also, the formula of total reflection coefficient is proposed and be used in removing the resonant points among the single radiation harmonic frequency band. With the analysis and equations, a single radiated-mode LCX for communication is designed, and the coupling loss of the LCX at the operational frequency of 1700MHz and 2500MHz are obtained from the commercial software HFSS. All of the results are agree well with the analysis on LCX.
