Off-shore wind power as a pillar of energy transmission using IOT (OSWPETIOT)

This paper provides an overview of utilizing sea breeze to generate electric power by using offshore windmills and the technology used to develop it. It also provides an overview of installation and transportation of Power from offshore wind turbines which is conducted in different levels. There are several challenges which are to be faced such as offshore site conditions or the technical limitations of the installations vessels. Unique optimum solutions are required depending on the characteristic parameters of the plant. In this paper the challenges in offshore wind turbine installations are investigated and analyzed. In brief, the main operation parameters are discussed; the benefits and drawbacks of different pre-assembled methods are mentioned. This paper describes the unconventional way of detecting the plant parameters using Texas Instrument CC3200 Launch Pad XL which operates on IOT concept. However, this paper specifically focusses on detection and monitoring of plant parameters using Texas Instrument IOT module.
