Micromagnetic study of the recording process on longitudinal thin-film media

Micromagnetic studies based on the LLG-type computer simulations [1] have been done in order to examine the recording process on longitudinal thin-film media. We especially focused on the effects of the perpendicular component, Hz, of the ring-type head field.
