Nd-Fe-B magnets for high temperature application

The production of Nd-Fe-B ha rapidly gown since the magnet was introduced in 1983. Its major applications have been demanding higher and higher energy products. As a result, its energy product has exceeded 55 MGOe in the laboratory and reached up to 50 MGOe in production. The improvement of energy product has resulted in many new applications because a high energy product contributes Mt only to high performance but also to volume miniaturization.
