Nanoparticles in magnetic fluids commonly display a broad distribution of parameters. Therefore, for many applications as magnetic response imaging and magnetorelaxometry which is a new method for the evolution of immunoassays [1] only a small fraction of particles contribute to the desired magnetic effect.
