Matteucci effect in glass coated microwires

The Taylor-Ulitovski technique has been employed for the fabrication of tiny amorphous and nanocrystalline microwires. Like the "commercial" amorphous wires and ribbons, such microwires show magnetic properties of great technological interest, like magnetic bistability, soft magnetic properties and GMI effect. At the meantime in the case of microwires, still lacking an observation of the other effects. like Matteucci effect observed before in wires and ribbons [l-3].
