Stability of gold nanofilms' based hall sensors under thermal loads typical for the DEMO ex-vessel environment

It was investigated an influence of temperature in the range from room one to 250 deg. C on functional characteristics of the gold nanofilms' based Hall sensors intended for the using in magnetic diagnostic systems of fusion reactors. Hall voltage and offset voltage of samples stay stable at all considered temperatures, which in particular is explained by the preliminary annealing that was carried out at 400 deg. C. Obtained results allow to use considered sensors as front-end components of the DEMO reactor magnetic diagnostics for the ex-vessel locations where the thermal loads are expected up to 200 deg. C. Onward it is planned to improve the technology of sensors manufacturing in order to minimize the offset voltage.
