Radar spectrum occupancy study (SPECTROC)

In a context where communication equipment need higher bands (notably digital communications) and tries to rise up to classical radar bands such as L (1 215-1 400 MHz), S (2 700-3 600 MHz), C (5 250-5 850 MHz) bands, and when it is supported by pressure of the mobile communication market, there exists a desire from the civil communication community to make civil communications and radar systems share the same frequency bands. The overall objective of the present study on spectrum occupancy (SPECTROC) is to bring a global <;<; radar >> point of view from the large European industrial community.
