Application of techniques of computational intelligence for constructing reliable decision support systems

In recent years, techniques of computational intelligence such as neural networks, GAs, and etc. have been successfully applied for constructing various decision support systems. In this paper, we shall try to utilize neural networks to construct an intelligent decision support system (DSS) for dealing the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prices Indexes (TOPIX). We shall also briefly touch upon our recent trial which utilizes neural networks to make a prediction concerning sales of manufactured product.
