Investigation and control of chaos in DC-DC noel converter using slope compensation method

In DC-DC Power converters, a nonlinear behavior such as bifurcation and chaos leads to many undesirable effects. So it is important to analyse and control the chaos in DC-DC Power converters. In this paper, DC-DC Negative Output Luo Converter is considered and chaos is analyzed by varying the reference current. It has been observed that the system becomes unstable to chaos when the reference current is increased. For controlling chaos, slope compensation method is proposed to implement the compensating slope and control the output voltage by suppressing sub harmonic oscillation. The analysis and control of chaos in NOEL converter is validated through the simulated results.
