A 94–96GHz 100 watts folded waveguide TWT

The paper introduce a W-band folded waveguide traveling wave tube(TWT), the test result show the impulse wave output power is above 100W within 2GHz bandwidth from 94GHz to 96GHz. The peak power is 120W and the maximum gain is 41.6dB. The electron efficiency is more than 3.7 % and the total efficiency is more than 18% with two stage depression collector. The tube is tested under the electron gun voltage is 19.1 KV and beam current is 145 mA.
