Research on error analysis and correction of infrared temperature measurement for rotating

In this paper, the error distribution of infrared temperature measurement of a typical rotating surface is studied. Typical rotation surfaces include the rotation surfaces, whose generatrix is the straight line, the near line or the semicircle, a temperature compensation formula is proposed to correct the infrared temperature error for this rotation surfaces. The point the thermal imager face rightly is called to be the datum mark of the temperature measurement position. Experiments show that the error increases as the vertical distance from the datum mark is increasing, and the error is only related to the surface emissivity, the base temperature and the vertical distance from the datum mark to the boundary of the surface. This paper do research on mathematical laws between the error of surface temperature and its vertical distance to the datum mark, when the surface emissivity is 0.95, using mathematical modeling method to obtain the error model, to achieve the typical infrared surface temperature measurement Error correction. The results show that the maximum reduction of infrared surface temperature is up to 20% error of the rotation.
