Research on associative memories based on CNNs with time delay and value-varying templates

Associative memory (AM) based on cellular neural networks (CNNs) with time delay and value-varying templates is presented in this paper. In past, cloning template has been researched. However, there are some limitations about it. Cloning template make the relationship between weights of cells in CNNs enhance. In order to overcome the shortcomings of cloning template, value-varying templates of CNNs are put forward. In this paper, firstly, a theorem is obtained by two lemmas. Moreover, a algorithm about associative memories is presented. Finally, an example is given to verify the themes and algorithm.
