Study of radiation characteristic measurement system of 3.5 GHz active antenna system

In this study, 3.5 GHz AAS transmitter and receiver characteristics measurements are conducted based on the 3GPP's specification. The shapes of the EIRP and the receiver gain patterns of the AAS show good agreement with the antenna pattern of the only antenna. The measured maximum EIRP of this AAS is +42.3 dBm, and the measured maximum antenna gain is 11.8 dBi. The transmit power calculated by the EIRP and the antenna gain is 30.5 dBm.
