Experimental validation of a modulator-demodulator 16-CQAM using SDR

There are several schemes of hierarchical modulation designed to provide higher quality of transmission to certain bits known as high priority bits, this is especially useful for data transmission formats such as video or broadcasting audio. The CQAM technique is a novel method but never before evaluated on a laboratory environment, so in this document an experimental validation of a 16-CQAM system is performed, using SDR systems, a modern and versatile solution for the implementation of radios, Normally its modeling and implementation is done through interfaces such as GNURadio, LabVIEW or MatLab.
