Power limiter based on reflected phase shifter with ferroelectric varactor

Results of power limiter based on reflected phase shifter with nonlinear ferroelectric element measurements are presented. Utilized ferroelectric element is an interdigital BSTO thin-film varactor. Dependence of BSTO thin-film dielectric permittivity from applied microwave power is investigated. RF voltage influence and heating effect were experimentally separated and analysed.
