Research on optimizing visual soil resistivity test method based on theoretical algorithm

The soil parameters, which are the inverse data adopting Canadian software CDEGS (also called isometric pole method) of the result of Wenner quadrupole method measurement, and are the computed data based on the Wenner quadrupole method and improved mathematical algorithm, are different from the actual soil condition. For this reason, in two experimental sites with known soil structures, homogeneous and non-homogeneous, the soil resistivity are repeatedly measured by non-isometric methods (also called general method) and Winner Method, and the soil structure model is obtained by the inverse data via CDEGS. The result are to be compared with the data of field geological exploration in the same experimental sites. The experimental results show that in non-homogeneous soil, the soil layer data inverted by non-isometric methods and symmetrical non-equidistant quadrupole method (also called Bamor method) which is suitable for measurement are more elaborately characterized, and are more corresponding to the data of field geological exploration. The author suggests the standard of soil resistivity measuring method be revised. In addition, in the mathematical model calculation of large projects and the soil with higher grounding requirements, we should determine the convergence and accuracy of the results by the preceding two measuring method rather than totally rely on the improvement of mathematical algorithm.
