Genetic algorithm based on divide-and-conquer strategy for defect-tolerant CMOL mapping

The CMOS/nanowire/molecular integrated (CMOL) circuits offers flexible logic function and high density advantages. Since a considerable number of nanodevices and nanowires are defective during manufacturing process, focusing on the stuck-on-open defects, a defect-tolerant mapping method is proposed for the cell mapping of defective CMOL circuits. Combined with genetic algorithm and employing divide-and-conquer based layer mapping strategy, the correct mapping can be achieved by refactoring the selected cells with defects.
