Computational approach for hesitant fuzzy group decision making problems

In present study, a computational approach is proposed for hesitant fuzzy group decision making problems. Proposed method uses a novel way of pair wise comparison of the alternatives. In most of preference relation based group decision making the final result is much dependent on relative preference of one alternative over another. In previously preference relations based group decision making methods pair wise comparisons between the alternatives were not appropriate, i.e., different preference orders contributes the same value in computing the relative preference. Motivated by this, we develop a fuzzy ideal based computational approach for hesitant fuzzy group decision making problems. In this method, degree of preference is counted to find the final outcome of problem. Finally, the feasibility and validity of the proposed method is shown by taking an example of human resource development (HRD) event, where it is used to select the best possible candidate by different decision makers.
