Research of the comparison of wind farm fault simulation and actual trials

This Paper carried out three phase and single phase short circuit tests and verified the security and stability of large scale wind farms integration on Rongcheng power station. Including location and type of short circuit, system operation conditions and measurement of date, summarized the main work between the wind farms short circuit test. Following the ideas of “unit level-wire level-wind farm level-grid level”, a simulation model of experimental wind farm and regional power grid is constructed. The simulation results and field test data are carried out for the comparison and further analysis. The methods of wind turbine modeling, wind farm equivalent and short circuit simulation are validated by the comparison research of simulation and field test work. The results had important guiding significance for the Electric centralized access for the actual grid stroke.
