Research on evaluation method of VLF communication support capability

The effect of VLF communication is impacted by the environment factors, so the effect lacks the uniformity in the region of time, space and frequency. It makes use of the well prediction of the VLF frequency band, to establish the signal field predicting model and atmospheric noise statistics predicting model respectively. Then the calculation flow of field strength prediction and the main data source and processing steps of noise prediction are proposed. Through the prediction of the signal field strength and noise level, it is possible to realize the accurate prediction of the VLF communication support capability.
