Secrecy performance of multiple primary user based cognitive radio network with multiple eavesdroppers

A cognitive wiretap channel is considered with underlay spectrum sharing and multiple primary users. The secondary transmitter communicates with a secondary receiver in the presence of multiple eavesdroppers. The secondary transmitter, the secondary receiver are equipped with multiple antennas, whereas and each eavesdropper is equipped with a single antenna. Secrecy performance of the cognitive wiretap channel is analyzed. Transmit antenna selection (TAS) scheme is implemented to enhance the security in communication. The closed form expression for the secrecy outage probability is derived and the results are validated by carrying out simulations. The impact of multiple primary users in the cognitive wiretap network's secrecy performance is revealed in the results.
