Event and alarm-based hierarchical fault tolerant control for nonlinear networked systems

This paper proposes a kind of hierarchical fault-tolerant controller design methods for networked control systems subject to input saturation and actuator failures. The structure of the whole system includes an alarm signal generator and a hierarchy fault-tolerant controller. The alarm signal is used to invoke the controllers with different hierarchy levels of failures. Besides, in order to save the limited network resources, an event-based algorithm is adopted to driven each controllers. Finally, an numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
