SPS: A Software Production System for mini-computers and micro-computers

This paper describes Software Production System called SPS for mini-computers and micro-computers. SPS provides single uniform interface for editing of source texts and object codes, language processing and simulation of various kinds of mini- and rnicro-computers. Its purpose is a centralized software production support for programmers who are located in several factories 30 - 40 km apart. It has been under operation since October 1977 and can handle 50 on-line users at first. It aimes to support 150 simultaneous users.
